Saturday was the Auburn versus Mississippi State game, and since my parents have a tailgate, they came into town. We decided to have brunch the following morning at one of my favorite places to eat in Auburn, the Crepe Myrtle Café, which specializes in crepes of all kinds (quite punny, don’t you think?). However, not only is a great place to eat, it is also connected to a flower shop. Could you design a more perfect place for me? A place that has both crepes and flowers?! It really couldn’t get any better.
We had a wonderful time. I couldn’t stop raving about my crepe or the mums scattered across the outside of the garden shop, and it ended up being the perfect venue to take pictures of that day’s outfit.
It was surprisingly chilly enough that day to wear a sweater outside. Honestly, I despise cold weather; however, I love fall clothing, and it really can be a bit too warm in Alabama, even for me. I was thankful for the change, although temporary. The pumpkins also really got me into the mood for autumn. I cannot wait to carve and paint some now! I’ll be sure to post again when I do that, so don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so that you get an email notification when I do.
I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post.

I originally got this dress from Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren. However, the pattern of the dress greatly reminds me of Liberty of London fabrics, and here are some Liberty for JCrew dresses:
